The Induction Tester, model YT-28312 by YATO, is designed to identify voltage in electrical wires ranging from 90-1000V. Additionally, it facilitates wire continuity testing.
This tester operates on the principle of induction, indicating non-contact whether wires are live. The detected voltage is signaled through an LED and audible sound. The absence of direct contact between the probe and the insulated wire enhances user safety and speeds up the work.
Furthermore, a built-in LED light illuminates the work area, significantly improving testing in dark environments.
The tester is powered by two 1.5V (AAA) batteries and comes with an ON/OFF switch. Additionally, the integrated AUTO-POWER OFF feature turns it off after a period of inactivity, thereby conserving battery life.
