It’s best to scarify your lawn in two directions: both lengthwise and across. This will loosen the moss more easily. To make everything go smoothly, be sure to work in nice, straight lines. That way, you’re certain to have covered every piece of your lawn. Afterwards, rake the moss together in both directions and remove it.
