The BROWIN Collagen Casings ∅55 - 4m are high-quality artificial protein casings designed for making homemade sausages. These casings are suitable for scalding, smoking, and a variety of sausage types, allowing you to create delicious meats right at home.
This high-quality artificial protein casing allows for quick and straightforward preparation of homemade processed meats. Approved for food contact, it withstands temperatures for scalding up to 75°C, smoking up to 90°C, and cool smoking up to 40°C. Note that the casing must be removed before consumption as it is not fit for food.
Preparation note: Before filling, immerse the casing for 30 minutes in a 10-15% saline solution (1/2 glass of salt per 1L of water) at a temperature of 20 ±5°C. Tightly filled casings should be tied and processed according to the intended sausage type.
Each package contains approximately 4 mb ± 5% of casing material.
