The BROWIN Collagen Casings ∅55 - 4m are high-quality artificial protein casings designed for making homemade sausages. These casings are suitable for scalding, smoking, and a variety of sausage types, allowing you to create delicious meats right at home.

  • For scalding and smoking: This artificial protein casing is perfect for preparing scalded, warm, hot, and cold-smoked homemade products.
  • For various sausages: You can prepare exquisite sausages, including Żywiecka, Krakowska, and Szynkowa, as well as maturing sausages.
  • Simple to use: To use this casing, simply immerse it in brine for 30 minutes before filling. Once filled tightly, tie it and proceed with the cooking process.
  • Certified for safety: This product has been tested and approved for food contact, including food subjected to high-temperature processing.
  • Detailed specifications: The casing is thermally resistant, enabling smoking at temperatures up to 90°C. Each casing comes in ecru color, measuring 4 meters in length and 55 mm in diameter.

This high-quality artificial protein casing allows for quick and straightforward preparation of homemade processed meats. Approved for food contact, it withstands temperatures for scalding up to 75°C, smoking up to 90°C, and cool smoking up to 40°C. Note that the casing must be removed before consumption as it is not fit for food.

Preparation note: Before filling, immerse the casing for 30 minutes in a 10-15% saline solution (1/2 glass of salt per 1L of water) at a temperature of 20 ±5°C. Tightly filled casings should be tied and processed according to the intended sausage type.

Each package contains approximately 4 mb ± 5% of casing material.
