The BROWIN Turbo Torpedo 5-7 Days Distiller’s Yeast (Model Code: 403131) is an advanced brewing yeast that enables fermentation of various ingredients, achieving alcohol levels up to 21%. Ideal for home brewers, this yeast is perfect for producing your favorite distilled beverages in a short time frame.

  • Fermentation up to 21% alcohol - The new blend of yeast and nutrients allows for achieving a very high attenuation level and up to 21% alcohol content.
  • Versatile use - This yeast is effective at fermenting a variety of materials, including sugar, fruits, maize, barley, rye, wheat, potatoes, and molasses.
  • Quick fermentation - The yeast typically ferments 6 kg of sugar in just 5-7 days at a temperature of 23°C.
  • Portion for 6-9 kg of sugar - The sugar quantity can be adjusted based on the desired alcohol content after fermentation.
  • For 25 L of batch - One pack of Turbo Torpedo yeast is sufficient for preparing a 25 L batch.

How to use:

Select the fermentation option based on your desired alcohol content (refer to the provided table). Dissolve the specified amount of sugar in lukewarm water (about 30°C) in a fermentation vessel.

Next, pour the entire contents of the yeast packet into the mixture and stir gently.

Transfer the liquid into a demijohn or fermentation container and fill it up to 25 liters with room temperature water.

After securing the airlock, allow the mixture to ferment between 20-25°C for the number of days indicated in the table.

For optimal results, it is recommended to clarify the batch once fermentation is complete.

* For batches exceeding 7 kg of sugar, carefully add a second portion of sugar after 48 hours.

Note:

The fermentation process will produce foam, so it is advisable to initially add about 100 g of sugar and wait for the foam to settle before adding the remaining sugar. We also recommend using a foam-reducing defoamer.
