3M PELTOR ProTac III Slim headphones are designed to protect your hearing from harmful noise while allowing ambient sounds below 82dB to be heard. This feature enhances the user's ability to stay aware of their surroundings and communicate with colleagues, as well as hear warning signals and sounds from machinery and industrial processes.
The headphones include a 3.5 mm stereo input with listening capabilities (limited to 82 dB) for connecting external devices, such as mobile phones, radios, two-way radios, and iPods. The menu system is equipped with voice control, enabling setting adjustments without needing to remove the headphones. An automatic shut-off feature powers down the headphones after 4 hours of inactivity, conserving energy, while a low battery warning indicates when it is time to replace the batteries.
To prevent corrosion caused by sweat exposure, the electronics are positioned on the outside of the headphones. They are available in both headband and helmet-mounted versions (in black).
