The YATO YT-82168 plunge cut saw is a powerful tool designed for precision cutting of wooden surfaces and materials derived from wood processing, such as plywood, particleboard, and MDF, using circular saw blades.
This saw makes it easy to cut wood vertically on the work surface within an adjustable cutting depth range, as well as at an angle from 0 to 45 degrees.
It is also capable of plunge cutting, allowing you to start cutting not just from the edge of the material.
Product Description
This precision plunge-cutting saw is suitable for carpentry work and is comparable to top-tier equipment in its class. It is specifically designed for accurate and fast cutting of laminates: kitchen countertops beneath sinks, expansion joints for panels and floorboards, and furniture boards without causing damage. It can also be used for undercutting doors.
Equipped with motor control electronics, the saw allows for safe plunge cutting and reverse motion, which is beneficial for cutting interior corners. Features such as soft start and constant speed are typical of advanced equipment and also contribute to the longevity of the gearbox.
The working base is constructed from duralumin and is ground for precision after casting, ensuring stability and accuracy. The machine includes a robust parallel guide mounted on dual supports, providing rigidity and preventing blade wedging while operating with the guide.
The plunge-cutting saw is integrated with a built-in thermal switch and is compatible with a 1.4-meter guide bar, part number YT-82169. An inspection window located on the motor side provides visibility of the cutting edge during operations that require cutting against a vertical wall (with a minimum distance of 16mm from the edge of the vertical piece).
High precision cutting also allows for cutting grooves in tongue-and-groove joints.
