The YATO Transformer Soldering Gun YT-82451 is a high-power soldering iron designed for efficient and precise soldering work. Made from high-quality materials and featuring an ergonomic design, it offers excellent control and comfort during use. With a powerful output of 200W, this soldering gun heats up rapidly, reaching temperatures up to 350°C in just 8 seconds.
Specifications:
The set includes:
Special design allows operation in three temperature ranges:
It is advisable to select the temperature range based on the task at hand, such as soldering wires (B or C), basic electronic components on PCBs (B), or cutting plastic cords (A or B).
How to care for the soldering iron tip:
The tips of YATO transformer soldering irons are coated with a material that minimizes oxidation. Avoid overheating and mechanical damage to preserve this protective layer, as damage can lead to oxidation, affecting solder joint melting. A reliable maintenance practice is to apply solder to the tip during the first warm-up, then clean the excess with brass shavings. This layer of solder provides protection against oxidation and should be reapplied at the end of each use.
Note:
YATO transformer soldering irons maintain their compact size due to intermittent mode transformer technology. For optimal performance, adhere to the following rule:
Exceeding the soldering time occasionally will not detrimentally affect the operation of the soldering iron, especially if it is allowed to cool down. Overheating can decrease efficiency and the ability to heat the soldering tip appropriately, with a risk of damage to the transformer. Conventional transformers for continuous operation at this power level would be significantly larger and heavier.
