The YATO safety harness set with shock absorber YT-74235 is an essential gear designed to protect individuals from falls when working at heights. When properly worn, this harness system secures the user tightly at the torso and thighs, distributing forces evenly during a fall. The included shock absorber utilizes specially stitched polyester webbing that gradually tears to reduce fall speed, effectively connecting the harness to the anchor point.
Features of the Harness:
All components of the YATO safety harness set with shock absorber YT-74235 have been rigorously tested in EU-accredited laboratories and comply with EN 361:2002 and EN 355:2002 standards. The harness and shock absorber are also available separately under the YT-74221 and YT-74236 models.
VISUAL DESCRIPTION
Working at heights refers to tasks performed at a level more than 1 meter above ground or floor level, where the site is not surrounded on all sides by solid walls or protective structures up to 1.5 meters high. If collective protection measures cannot be implemented during such operations, the employer must provide individual protective equipment. Each piece of fall protection equipment must meet specific safety standards, confirmed by the manufacturer through EU-accredited testing laboratories. Compliance with these standards ensures the user's safety and protects both employees and employers from potential fines imposed by labor inspection agencies.
All YATO fall protection equipment comes with up-to-date certifications confirming compliance with safety standards, and proper usage according to provided instructions guarantees reliable operation for up to five years.
LIFESPAN
The lifetime of the harness and shock absorber is five years from the date of first use.
