The NIKWAX TX.Direct Wash-In is a clothing waterproofing agent that enhances the water repellency and restores breathability of your fabrics. This easy-to-use, water-based solution is ideal for breathable clothing that does not contain moisture-absorbing layers, effectively revitalizing its waterproof qualities. It is recommended for use on Gore-Tex®, SympaTex®, Permatex®, and Nikwax® Analogy® garments.
For optimal results, remove any non-washable parts and wash the item with Nikwax® Tech Wash® in a separate cycle prior to treatment. Do not dry the clothing before applying the waterproofing agent. Always follow the care instructions on the product label. Shake well before use.
1. Remove any existing detergents from the washing machine dispenser.
2. Place no more than two clean garments in the washing machine drum.
3. Add 2 full caps (100 ml) of TX Direct for each item.
4. Wash using the synthetic cycle at 40 °C with a low spin speed. Do not wash items with damaged bonded seams*.
1. Soak 1 clean garment in a tub with 6 liters of warm water.
2. Add 1 full cap (50 ml) of TX Direct.
3. Stir and let the garment soak for 5-10 minutes, then stir again thoroughly.
4. Rinse with cold water until the water runs clear.
* In older or worn garments, bonded seams may peel. They can be re-bonded with special adhesive after waterproofing and drying.
Air dry naturally or tumble dry on a low setting according to the care instructions on the product label. To maintain the product's waterproofing, use only Nikwax® Tech Wash® for washing. Do not use other detergents.
