The YATO Concrete Mesh Cutter (model YT-18400) is an essential tool designed for cutting reinforcement meshes and rods. With its robust construction and ease of use, it is perfect for various reinforcement tasks.
These scissors are engineered specifically for cutting mesh, mat, and reinforcement. The CRV steel head features a hook jaw that greatly facilitates the positioning of the cut rod between the jaws of the scissors. The head and jaws are vacuum-hardened to achieve a hardness of approximately 40 HRC. They can effectively cut rods with a hardness of up to 19 HRC (maximum diameter of 11 mm) and 9 mm diameter rods with a hardness of up to 40 HRC. The handles are constructed from steel pipes, with a total length of about 800 mm, making them ideal for cutting reinforcing meshes used in construction work.
